
Heidelberger & Sohn GmbH & Co. KG
November 1, 1950 Hugo Heidelberger founds Heidelberger Feilenfabrikation as a private partnership. The company headquarters was at Sutt 24. Production was started on 100 m² with initially two employees.
1960 Move into your own company building in Mittelgasse 4. Expansion of production to include toolmaking.
1974 Expansion of the production area to 400 m². Shift of the work focus towards machine tool construction.
1980 Son Peter Heidelberger joins the company. File production is completely stopped due to automation. Peter Heidelberger expands the business area to include special machine construction.
1982 Expansion of the production area to 650 m²
1998 Relocation of the entire production to the Hub industrial park. More than 20 employees work on the most modern machines for the construction of special machines on an area of more than 2000 m².
2000 50th company anniversary Numerous developments and inventions come from junior boss Peter Heidelberger. Part of it has already been patented.
