BALINIT MOLDENA – Protecting Tools for Injection Molding and Extrusion
This coating protects tools used in injection molding and extrusion of highly filled and corrosive plastics. It improves flow behavior, reduces wear and deposit formation, and increases corrosion resistance. BALINIT MOLDENA was also developed for use with recycled materials and has proven effective in many projects, significantly reducing scrap rates.
BALINIT MAYURA – Precision Coating for Non-Ferrous Tools
The rainbow-colored BALINIT MAYURA coating is extremely hard, thin, and smooth. It was developed for high-precision tools made from non-ferrous metals or tool steels where abrasion and material adhesion occur simultaneously. Additionally, the coating reduces the risk of chipping and preserves the sharpness of separating edges.
BALITHERM PRIMEFORM – Diffusion Treatment for Glossy Surfaces
The BALITHERM PRIMEFORM diffusion treatment solution protects mirror-polished plastic und textured mold surfaces of injection molds from scratches and wear. It facilitates demolding, improves process reliability, and enhances the quality of plastic products for the automotive, furniture, packaging, and medical industries.
FAKUMA, the international trade fair for industrial plastics processing, will take place from October 15 to 19, 2024, in Friedrichshafen / Germany. Experts from Oerlikon Balzers and Oerlikon HRSflow will be available in Hall 1, Booth A1-1215/1216, to advise visitors on optimal solutions for their plastics processing production lines.
